2016 Commitment-
Freson State University

Despite coming back from a combined 2-19 record from the preceding seasons, the Rancho Bernardo Bronco’s were not ready to hang up the cleats after their second place spot in last years Division II playoffs. Rancho Bernardo began their 2015 season with a banging 13-2 record. The Bronco’s consistency and willingness to become better is what secured them a spot in the playoffs, and also won them their first Division II CIF Championship title since 1995 against the Mt. Carmel Sundevils, they “Finished the Mission”.

-With the upcoming 2016 season only weeks away, there are many spots to fill on the team’s defense and offense with the loss of many key players. The Broncos are eager to continue living up to the incredible talent that was presumed on the team, as well as keeping the momentum going into this new season, led by Head Coach Tristan McCoy who is a Rancho Bernardo graduate himself. They are a team that present motivation and accountability amongst one another, we can only expect great things to come.

-Incoming Senior, Powerhouse Quarterback Mark Salazar  had an outstanding season, with a total of 2,248 passing yards in 2015. The 6-foot-3, 185 pounder has just verbally committed to play ball at Fresno State, he loves the coaching staff, as well as their offense and playing style. He says that he feels so at home, and that is what drew him towards the school. Mark strives for greatness in everything he does, and that shows especially on the field. He looks forward to another exciting season, before heading off to the big leagues.
